Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have a broken lock mechanism in the door, so was working on tearing it apart to get a new one in. Unfortunately, I tore the foam moisture barrier on the inside, and can't figure out an appropriate part to replace it! Does anyone have any experience with where to source something? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

The generic plastic is available on rolls from body-shop suppliers, you might just check a local body shop see if they will cut a few feet off the roll..?? Not sure if its the same stuff your seeing ..

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Attaching a picture of the moisture barrier. Seems to have a part number of 996.555.831.01, but as far as I can tell the internet has never heard of such a thing. Spoiler Spoiler

POST 4Original post

Try 99655583105 if it is still available should be about $70.00.
