I am absolutely clueless when it comes to wheels; I've currently got 18" wheels and would like 17". Seeing a set of 17" Turbo Twists on Craigslist with new tires: Front: 17x7.5 ET 65, 225/45 tires Rear: 17x9 ET 55 255/40 They also come with 2 18mm spacers. Would these fit my 996.1 C2? Thanks!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Found these on my local craigslist. I don't love that they're black, but the price seems right, especially with tires: https://portland.craigslist.org/yam/...855138971.html
@phr3dly I do not believe that those are 928 wheels, note the spacers. I do not believe they are not correct for your 996.1. What year and model do you have, it makes a difference on fitment? I have an extra set of 996.1 factory 17-inch wheels from my 1999 Carrera 2, sizes are as follows: Front: 7 J 17″, offset ET55 Rear: 9 J 17″, offset ET55 They have Michelin P/S all season tires in stock sizes I replaced them with 18” Carrera III wheels from a 997.1, that is the reason they are available Just haven’t gotten around to advertising them yet $500 plus shipping from Maryland Here is photo before taking them off the car ***SOLD***

Definitely not 928 wheels.
They sure don't look right on a 928 IMO..... Hope they work for you, they look good!
We have one more set of Factory OEM 996.2 17” wheels available if anybody wants them. My son used them temporarily on his NB Aerokit while searching for Sport Design wheels. $250 plus shipping, from Maryland.

If the front offset is a typo, then theyre the base 17 alloys from the 996.1 (pictured on a 968 ).
