Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm getting a Carbon fiber ducktail for a C4S. Will it go on a turbo or other models. I know the exterior dimensions are wider on the TTs and 4Ss cars, but Is there actually any differences in the dimensions of the lids or will they all bolt up to any model?

POST 2Original post

The C4S lid is shorter than the TT lid and they are not interchangeable. Whether the C4S lid fits other models IDK. Does the design of the carbon fiber decklid you're getting keep the center reflector in place?

I'm not sure yet, it's exactly like this. Why would it not stay in place?

POST 4Original post

I was just wondering if you were getting one that would keep the reflector or not. According to that pic, it's molded to accommodates the center reflector. That ought to look great!

Who are you going with for the Ducktail?

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It's Carbon Fiber. That's everything I know so far and I don't know the brand because it was painted Arctic Silver. It must be somewhat rare because I've never seen a CF lid that will accomidate the center reflector.

POST 7Original post

Rear hood for 4S and Turbo doesnt fit on C2 and GT3.

I can see where they DID make one? Do they still? The link I found is "404 page cannot be found".

So aboe Sanyata says that the 4S lid will not fit the Turbo, and if I have it right, your saying that neither the 4S lid nor the TT lid will fit the C2. So basically they are all propriatary to their specific models. Right? Thanks for the help.

POST 11Original post

Correct. Other then the c2/c4 (same) all engine lids r unique including coupe and cabs.

Id reach out to Simon directly. I know someone who has one and theres been some misinformation about about it. To be fair I havent asked personally about the C4S ducktail.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
