Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

New is generally always bad, this is that disaster somewhere. In general, there may be catastrophes with any machine , like a car, some draw more attention. A Tesla burning is nothing new, some burn, most of the rest do not - yet. A Porsche burning is news-worthy, a disaster thing, qualifies as BAD NEWS, so networks jump on it. I doubt that this Florida incident may be "common, like Teslas, for example", but doesn't matter. Do you think Porsche will cover this incident with warranty? I have no clue, but it certainly makes "Good News" for TV land. YMMV What do you think? Damage to Porsche name? Old geezers are clue-less? Who knows? Speculation. YOMV

POST 2Original post

If the GT3's with the bad Rods that were breaking a burning to the ground didn't give them a black eye.....that one won't do it either .....They make a fantastic Car so they get a pass ...

This guy tried to drag race me and my 996 and paid a heavy price trying to keep up.
