Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Climate control unit showing the sunset/sundown screen "fail." I've read about the fix. Likely to get worse, or stay the same? Car is 8 years young, aftermarket warranty, and it doesn't bother me.

POST 2Original post

Mine has been a bit worse than that, but holding steady, for over a year. There is a fix other than replacement of the entire component?

POST 3Original post

Is that a 2002 thing? I don't see that problem and my car is 11 years old.

POST 4Original post

Just ignore it till it gets bad, then do the fix.

POST 7Original post

The Fix: No affiliation: http://www.modulemaster.com/en/servi...e_controls.php I have not used this myself,I am waitting for my screen to get really bad.
