Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It has been almost two years ago that I lost my job. Well the Pcar had to go away. I already miss it. I'll have another one one of these days. I'll be lurking around here from time to time. I got a little Z4 until then. Very different ride. Good luck to you all.

POST 3Original post

Bummer, but a Z4 isn't that bad. Good luck on a job search, you'll own a Porsche again when things turn around. GL

POST 4Original post

Sorry to hear it. Good luck and I hope you end up in another P-car soon.

POST 5Original post

Very sorry for the lousy job situation forcing you out of your P-car. I truly hope the situation can improve as the economy turns around. Z4 is a terrific car - enjoy it.

POST 6Original post

Really sorry, I'm sure you will have another Porsche in your future and a Z4 is not exactly slumming it

POST 7Original post

In these trying times, so many of us are affected. Where's my government Porsche Handout?!

POST 8Original post

What kind of job are you looking for? I've got a couple contacts in Denver, and there are hundreds of people from CO on this forum! Sorry about the P-car, but stay positive -- find your good job, and get a pre-owned 997 in a year or two....

POST 9Original post

Sorry about the job situation. Been there, done that..... twice in the last four years..... so I know how you feel and it is not fun! Hopefully, Dave (Meister Fahrer) above ^ can help you with a job lead. Dave, great of you to offer your help with contacts!

POST 10Original post

Sorry to hear about the job situation. I wish you the best of luck finding another one! What type of work are/were you in?

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks everyone. In the last year and a half the only work I could land was a job in a warehouse. I took that job thinking that in the spring I'll land a job in my field. But that did not happen. I am sort of stuck working at this job for a time being. Anyway, I worked in the civil engineering field as a designer. I am looking at doing some new training (class/hands on training) to obtain a job in a new field. That means getting rid of my home here, if I can, and moving back to Indiana. The little Z is a nice car but very different from the Pcar. I never had a roadster before and today it was very nice to drop the top. Seem like the BMW likes to have the revs kept up high and I am not sure if I like the assist steering. It is a fun car but I really miss my C4.
