Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

34 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

It was mine; I sold it to a Rennlist guy, who I think sold it to a Rennlist guy, who may have sold it to someone else.

Wow, something about that car just looks great....

POST 6Original post

Yah it sure does look familiar. Maybe it's a forum members car

UberXY: Not sure if you remember me but I really really wanted to buy your car back in the day before the Red Aero beauty popped up that I bought. If I remember correctly the car first went to member screameleons, then onto Chads996 and then went into the hands of a non-rennlister. It was on the market a few months back posted on 6speedonline and may still be based on what the owner was asking for it. Here's the link to the most recent classifieds posting for the car: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/a...99-996-c2.html Andy

Yeah thats it. Funny, I sold the car for less three years ago than his current asking price. The car is one of a handful Champion Porsche ordered on spec in '99, as I think the GT3 was euro only that year. My understanding is that Porsche caught on and didn't let Champion order any more like it. It's sister car made the cover of Excellence in April 2000. I put the GHL exhaust on it and the clear side marker lenses. It's a great car, but I sold it and went back to an '80s Carrera that I found. One owner, German delivery, 39k miles, Andial 3.4 engine. I do miss that excellent A/C on the 996.

Maybe ask pmkazz? He seems to know something about a car with that look. Oh look! He has one just like it as his avatar

POST 12Original post

White is a striking color on them, and what a lovely chassis the 996 is. My biggest problem with these cars is that it's nearly impossible to find examples without a sunroof!

POST 15Original post

Cant tell from the angle but looks like a sunroof delete.

Unlike Phil I actually drive my car when there's not salt on the roads. ... the nice thing about my garage is that it's uncluttered by parts bought on ebay, so my car is happy and snug over the winter.

I figured you'd appreciate that.

POST 26Original post

OH - snap! Hahahahaha BTW, I would guess mine is more snuggly tucked in (with all the other misfit toys )

Ed enjoys buying stuff for his car. Ed needs to win a shopping spree from Porsche.

I've always imagined your garage to be like the scene from Toy Story where Woody and Buzz are in Sid's bedroom and meet all the mutant toys.
