Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If you guys havent got it already, there is a pretty well written article in may05 issue of Excellence that covers their 840hp 996 turned 9f-v400. great explanation into their development of this car. 20 units available, they have a forsale add on page 125 just wanted to see what your reactions were to this car Link to their home page http://www.9ff.de/

POST 2Original post

That's one hell of a car, is it a GT3 or GT2 derrivitive? BTW, I've never been able to find Excl magazine, is it avail on line? Thanks, Chris

POST 3Original post

Got it yesterday. Haven't had time to read it, but I will this weekend. I read in AutoWeek that the car did something like 241 MPH. It's interesting to note how much front to rear rake the car has in that photo.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

they mention that in the article, playing with the fronty lip they went from 230 to 241hp

POST 5Original post

Hard to believe they call it a street car with the front lip at 1cm from the tarmac

POST 6Original post

Here's the link. Great magazine by the way. Been a faithful subscriber for over 2 years and look fwd to EVERY issue. http://excellence-mag.com/

POST 7Original post

Tech notes in that issue states the 997 has no oil dipstick! Is that possible? Crazy if you ask me. I still don't trust that cartoon on the dashboard.

POST 8Original post

Not only possible, it's a fact. Excellence is the only magazine I read cover-to-cover.

POST 9Original post

Excellence (started out as Gmund) is a great magazine. I've been getting Pano for over 34 years (yikes) and Excellence is now better and definitely more objective... a must for Porsche freaks.

POST 10Original post

Totally concur. In fact, cover-to-cover many times over each issue to make sure there was nothing missed!
