Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have searched the threads but am still confused about fitment issues. Does anyone know if these tips fit my '02 C2 Cab? Will there be any modification necessary? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true Thanks. -Cami

POST 2Original post

If you're worried, Performance sells a Dansk-made turbo-style tip that fits regular C2s for about $300. I have their oversized oval tip, and the quality is extremely good.

POST 3Original post

Nope they will not fit - you need something that looks like this... http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/23986 Except that you need it to fit a narrow body '02+ and not the 99-01 version.

I think, in fact, that the Dansk tips do fit and they're intended for narrow body cars. I'm pretty sure this has actually been discussed here. But whatever works

I believe that 'wlee69' was referring to the ebay ones and not Dansk, but I could be wrong.

Oh, er... well, then. Never mind

POST 7Original post

Yup - I'm referring the the schnell tips....not the dansk........

I'm not sure if it's different between a C2 and a C4S, but I installed those same tips (from ebay) on my C4S. It took some work, but they fit great. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/380198-huge-thanks-to-fisterd-3-6l-pse-mod-done.html ...josh

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, I have an '02 C2 Cab. The Schnell link that wlee69 suggests states that the tips will fit model years '98-'01. I am still confused about fitment... I would like to change the tips b/c I like the look of the turbo tip better -- call me a poseur, I don't care...

POST 13Original post

based on the pic those tips do not appear that they will fit the narrow body style. as a matter of fact on my previous c4s the tips had a brace welded to the tips themselves and attached to the main cat pipes via a clamp.
