Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, Uniden's forthcoming BCT15 scanner is DIN-E and ISO vehicle mountable. Does the Porsche 996 support either of those standards? Also, while we're on the subject, can anyone point me to a good 996 audio primer for installing this myself? It will have a small GPS "puck" antenna attached to it that should rest on the dash. I'd like to run this cord up behind the dash, where it can't be seen. Doable? Thank you! Dave
