Customer came in with an 02 911 4S and his front dif was leaking. Pulled it out and are rebuilding it. The left side diff-axle bearing was shot. We got the seals but cannot find the bearing for the left side. Everything that comes up are tapered bearings instead of how these are. Anyone know where we can get the bearing? I saw the post on the guy who rebuilt his but it doesn't ever say where he got the side bearings. Any help is appreciated.

With the old bearing and its number can't you contact a bearing supply house to ask if it can supply the same bearing? Have you tried sourcing the bearing from a Porsche parts department? Or if you prefer try one of the online Porsche parts suppliers: There is Pelican Parts and Suncoast Parts is another.
