ok - so I have searched the forums and found a few older posts on converting the dash lights to led's (for 993's on back) - but nothing on the DYI of a 996. I figure since I will have the cluster out anyway - I have a burned out bulb on the odo side (far left) - that I could take this time to really re-think the colors of the dash. I started thinking blue - my old Trans Am - my first car at 16 - had red dash lights - and I know that my friend the pilot says they are easier on the eyes. So ... ok red. Now, the how - have you done this mod? I figure it would be a fairly easy - a lotta bang for a little buck mod. What do you think?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
