As perventative maintenance, I put on the new coolant cap ending in part # 04. However the old one ending in part # 01has a very positive detent I can feel when closing it. However the new one is very faint and doesn't feel tight enough at the detent. Can I hand tighten it past the very faint detent? My guess is that is fine, but I don't want any issues at mid-ohio tomorrow. I'm brining the old cap just to be safe.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
