Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Quotes source post: 8232739

Thanks. And the weather was a 10 today so the camera came out..

POST 6Original post

The always blue California skies eh. Very nice. Even during summer our sky doesn't get that blue and clear.

POST 7Original post

I need to move to CA..... my car wont pass inspection though. Very nice!

POST 8Original post

Beautiful car, one question though. Is that what sunshine looks like...

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8233043

Sorry guys. The weather was just beautiful today. Most of the time it is cloudy and raining

POST 10Original post

That's gorgeous. I thought my silver aero-kit looked good, but the white is truly stunning!

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8233137

Thanks Jon. I appreciate the feedback...

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 18Original post

Congrats! Great looking P-car in white. The Yang to my Yin.

POST 19Original post

Looks great! ...pity mine is covered in dirt right now.... hopefulyl we'll hit 50 tomorrow so that I can wash it.

POST 20Original post

More more!! I'm tired and prefer pictures over reading.

POST 21Original post

Quotes source post: 8234307

Mine when it was clean.

POST 22Original post

Very nice! An Aero in white was one of my top color choices. Sweet. And you're right, weather here was great yesterday, surpassed only by today's!

POST 24 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8234318

Hey, give my 996 back.......

POST 25Original post

Mine - spends most of the time in the garage these days...

POST 26 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8236052

Very Nice Mk1...

POST 27Original post

Quotes source post: 8235958

Ahem! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? 47 degrees out today , so mine got a bath... good thing too, as I found a paint chip that I'll have to fix next time I'm home and can pick up my touch-up paint.

POST 28Original post

I'm starting to feel like I should trade in my car... white is become as plain and common as silver.

POST 29Original post

anyone remember chad's white 996.... that was a sweet ride. He did alot of work on that car. Great contributor to this forum.... https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...o-edition.html

POST 30Original post

Yeah, seeing his car convinced me to get the aero kit. Didn't his car go to another rennlister?

POST 31Original post

Quotes source post: 8236651

yup.... though I forgot who. Chads car originally came with these wheels, which I sold to another RLister, funny how things just moves around round here...

POST 32Original post

Quotes source post: 8236668

Yup, we're a pretty tight community.

POST 33 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Added white face gauges last week and carbon fiber mirrors.

POST 34Original post

^^^ nice! thats the first gauge in white Ive seen.... Al sometimes look white, where did you get them? nice mirrors as well...

POST 36 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8236829

The gauges are from NR auto ( http://www.nrauto.com/ ). Took a few hours and patience to install but they came out great. Found the mirrors used and I could not pass them up.

POST 37Original post

Quotes source posts: 8236895, 8236920

Yup, very true. I've always liked the white faces, but not been brave enough to rip the dash apart to install them.

POST 38 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8236961

Taking the dash apart and removing the gauge cluster is easy. Taking the needles off the gauges is the part that is a little frightening...

POST 39 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just a few more. If anyone is bored, please let me know.. Fabspeed Black Chrome tips and full Cargraphic exhaust.

POST 40Original post

wow.... not bored at all, what mod lists do you have?

POST 41Original post

Quotes source post: 8237048

Very nice! I have the same tips in chrome wth FisterD's.. Keep em coming, maybe I will get some more mod ideas

POST 42Original post

Quotes source post: 8236961

Same here, taking the gages apart scares me! I tried it once years ago with a 951 cluster ... lets just say it did not go well.

POST 43 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

How about white center console, painted Bumperettes (which are a must), newly installed 997 SSK (which I love), new shift **** and boot, PSS9's and GT3 front sway bar with Tarett drop links, Porsche OEM 5mm wheel spacers front and back, silver hood crest, stainless steel door sills, pedals, back seats removed..

POST 45Original post

Quotes source post: 8237048

Nice ride. The full Cargraphic must sound wicked. Any video of the exhaust?

POST 46 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8238403

It is not very loud but does have a nice sound. If you push it, you hear it, but cruising at 65/70 you dont even notice. Sorry, no video, but maybe this weekend I will do one..

POST 47Original post

A nice movie quote regarding the So. Cal. weather from Swingers. "You gotta get on with your life. You gotta let go of the past. And Mikey, when you do, I'm telling you: the future is beautiful, alright? Look out the window. It's sunny every day here. It's like manifest destiny. Don't tell me we didn't make it. We made it! We are here"

POST 48Original post

Here is ours, don't drive it much and it will be becomming a race car. RUF's will be for sale soon as well as the bilstien/h&r combo.....

POST 49 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8240448

Man, those wheels really pep up the old girl!

POST 51Original post

There's one in Singapore. Looks exactly like yours except for the wheels.

POST 52 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
