Hello all. I have a small "ding" on the rear quarter panel of my 2003 C4S. It is sort of difficult to see in the pictures, and my wife says she can hardly tell. Believe me, though, I know it's there, and it's bothering me. Can this type of dent be fixed without a new quarter panel? The paint is intact. I did email pictures to Optimum Dent Removal in the Chicago area, but haven't received a response yet. I guess I'm wondering if a body shop can make it "like new", and if so, anyone have a recommendation for where to bring my car in the western suburbs of Chicago. Thanks in advance!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

yes, dent guys can take that out. it doesn't look bad at all
Piece of cake to be good as new. Trust me, I see that being done all the time. As long as there is no paint crease or chip.
I had a car that had over 25 small dings like that. A paintless dent removal guy removed every last one for $80. I had a connection thru a car dealership and took my car there when he was removing dents from trades.
Thanks guys. Just knowing it can be fixed helps already You know, if I had bought the car this way, it probably wouldn't even bother me; but I did it vacuuming the car this weekend. Made me sick.
yes
I find a new scratch every time I wash my black one. She always looks great driving her into the garage right after washing, and just before the cover goes on. When she's dirty is I could care less.

I usually just vacuum the interior. Seriously, they can take that right out.
