Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There is a Porsche part that I want to buy. It's just outside Frankfurt, but the seller won't ship to the US. It weights about 30 pounds and will easily fit in a box about 22"x22"x10" with lots of newspaper for cushion. It's used and a pretty durable part. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this done with minimal seller help?

Ask him to deliver the part to a local freight outlet (FedEx, DHL, etc.) and have them box it up and ship it. http://www.posttip.de/anbieter/9/fedex.html

Or maybe someone in the military over there.... I used to ship stuff from Germany, and the military postal service calculates the shipping from APO New York.
