Hi, I bought a pair of 996 sport seats with silver painted back. I currently have full power seats w/ memory, and the sport ones are electric on just the back, not the lower part. Do I need different harness? will the memo function still work?? thanks
Welcome to RL. You shouldn't need a new harness. Seats should be plug and play. As I said on your RT thread, depending on the year of your car and the year of the seats you may have to move a pin from one location to another in the plug. You will lose your memory seat function when you swap the seat as the memory module is under your original seat so unless there is a memory module under your sport seat, you will loose this function.
