Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just recently purchased my first porsche and just wanted to introduce myself. This seems like a really cool site with valuable info, minus the typical message board ego. I picked up an 02 C4 Cab and its definately the only payment I look forward to making every month. The vehicle had only 8k miles and is super super clean. I originally did not want a Cab, but I guess the deal I got on this particular vehicle with its option package was hard to pass up. I'm already in search for some minor mods and have recently ordered clear side markers and a set of BBS LM's. Anyone have LM's on an 02 Cab? I did some searching and didnt find any..... Ive done some lurking the past week or so and I have to say there are some sick cars in here! my new ride.....

POST 14Original post

Congrats, I just bought an '03 C4 Cab with similiar miles. Do you mind posting what you paid? Was it a 6-speed or tip?

POST 17Original post

Welcome and congrads! Nice P-car! Good choice on the initial mods. Is it a 6-speed or Tip? If it's a 6-speed, I suggest you get a Short Shifter Kit, either B&M or OEM (you'll pay more for the OEM).

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks.... Sure I dont mind. Its a 6sp I paid just above $65k. Total impulse buy, no time or patience for haggling. I had the choice of this vehicle or a new C2 with hardly any options and a little more pricey. I realize that there are probably better deals out there, but something just felt right about this purchase. Options: OEM 18's / michi pilot sports Full leather interior carbon fiber shifter carbon fiber ebrake rocker panels slate gray color porsche logo crest in seats 3 spoke steering wheel -extended warranty
