Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 996 C2 ('99) has M030 springs but standard shocks. I know the C4S has wider sway bars and the M030 springs, but does it also have the M030 shocks? How much harsher a ride can I expect from the C4S? If I make the move and don't like the ride getting softer shocks would fix it, right????? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

I personally found the ride on the stock C4S to be on the harsh side. I recently changed to the X73 and I find the ride a bit more controlled, a little less harsh on the small bumps, firmer on the larger ones, and the handeling on the track to be night and day better. The stock C2 rides better for sure- but sloppy IMHO.
