Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

25 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 2Original post

i don't like it, but it reminds us how much Porsche and their owners embrace personalization.

POST 3Original post

I think that color is called Bondo Metallic . It's a Tequipment Special Order color from Home Depot.

POST 4Original post

Forgot to copy it here, but the special order color is listed in the description. Not too beautiful IMHO.

POST 5Original post

that is a repulsive colour - and its set off by the wood interior in a particularly distasteful fashion I wonder who owned it? I was in Cannes a few years back and there was a 996 in brown metallic It looked like a large turd.

POST 6Original post

Whoa! You have to cut down on the iron in your diet. Turds shouldn't look metallic. If it continues you should see a doctor.

POST 7Original post

Nice nail polish color... it works very nice with the dark wood trim. There's no accounting for taste. Terrible F.

POST 9Original post

i'm sure Robyn will get an all Pink one some day!

POST 11Original post

i actually saw this car in person at Amelia Island Concours a number of years ago. It's looks better in person than in the pictures. It's really pink though.

POST 12Original post

Is that Barbie's Porsche?... or does it belong to Mary Kay Cosmetics sales person of the year? That is one Butt-Ugly color.

POST 13Original post

Sometimes money will give a guy really bad taste. What a waste of german sports car

POST 14Original post

It would go nicely with my new clear bra, dress, open blouse and my new bright pink flip flops... Jim

POST 15Original post

All that trouble and didn't even bother to color coordinate the spare. Geez. Lipstick on wheels!

POST 18Original post

The exterior is not that bad...the color isn't hideous... Porsche actually had a color as such in the late 80's. It looked decent on the 911, which I have a picture of somewhere. The interior is grotesque....the wood, what were they thinking? Eww!! It also needs an aerokit and lowering and black wheels. And Kirby is just jealous, he tried to get the jump on me with a pink Porsche, but I called it first. You should have seen him, he was crying like a little girl!

POST 19Original post

Kirby should buy it and then resell it for a huge profit in the Bay Area. Bet you would have a line waiting to buy!!!!!!

POST 21Original post

Hey at least it has " Z eon " lights... BTW here's a much cheaper alternative with the same pizzazz (minus headlights... probably stolen by Ken... that b@st@rd!!!) http://pages.tias.com/208/PictPage/1921709819.html

POST 23Original post

I was wondering what happened to this car. It was for sale at a local lot for a while before being sold out of state. If memory serves, the color is called Rose Quartz Metalic. It was one of those flashy colors they came out with on the 964.

POST 24Original post

...popularized by the 964 America Roadster. It's really a beautiful color, if the interior were black and the wheels were silver. Here are some bad pics of the car...
