Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know of any easy quick covers that attach somehow when the top is down? I'm thinking something that attaches in the front and can be pull over through to the back sort of like how one of those pull down window covers?

POST 2Original post

What is the need for such a product? The top raises and lowers in seconds.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I don't want to keep putting it up and down. I want to be able to just park in the sun at work and pull something over to protect the inside and components from the sun. I think a car cover is to much of a hassle for me, but thanks.

Like a tonneau cover that every British car used to use?

California car covers has them. I bought one last year. It hooks to the wipers with velcro straps, the door handles with loops and there are three tabs that go under the trunk lid. It has kept bird droppings etc out of our car very nicely. It also helped keep it dry in a light sunshower. http://www.calcarcover.com/pdf/Summe...ction12-13.pdf "CCCCs interior cover blocks out the harmful UV rays that can damage upholstery and dashboards and hides equipment and personal gear from thieves. Keeps the interior cool and comfortable. Easily secured with anchor straps to door handles, trunk lid, etc. Made from our versatile all-weather Superweave fabric or durable "Stormweave" material. Superweave $99.99 Stormweave $79.99"
