Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any good/bad stories? Any to avoid? Best deals, additional info for wheel swapping tricks? Thanks. Looked at some Griot's stuff, pretty nice, but not sure that's the best. Not going to use it weekly, but once in a while. Jack stands Jack Jack pads? Torque wrench Other ideas. TIA

POST 2Original post

Low profile ramps-Can be built or buy the plastic ones Low profile jack if car is lowered-California Car Cover Company has a nice one Hockey puck for jack pad(Thanks Loren) Stands are like helmets. How much would you spend to protect your head! Craftsman torque wrenches are all good I am a BIG fan of Griots but some of the stuff is over priced

POST 3Original post

I use a Craftsman jack (with hockey puck of course!), jack stands and tourque wrench. I find all to be good quality at a reasonable price. Got the puck somewhere besides Sears.....
