When I used to read Road and Track I loved looking at the performance chart in the back of the mag that had the 0-60 times and the skidpad #'s. On the skidpad the Corvette generally pulled right at 1.0g . The Porsche 911 was around .87g to .91g . I have always been curious what my car would do. I was reminded of this after going for a drive with my wife this evening and having her plastered against the window on some 50 mph turns. She seldom rides in the car so watching her reaction in corners taken at 7/10ths is fun. My car is quite low 24.75", GT3 sways, H&R coilovers, F and R strut tower braces, 1.5 deg front and 2.5 rear camber, Pirelli Corsa 245 fr 285 rear, 6mm fr and 15mm rear spacers. The car is pretty neutral with the rear stepping out a smidge at the limit; very predictable with no freaky loops. I am sure this is a common set up for a lot of guys. What do you think our cars would do if R&T were to check them out on the skid pad?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
