Hot damn, I am no longer a Newbie. 916er mentioned in a thread today that he just joined, just bought a 2003 Carrera, and wants to hang with local Upstate NY PCar owners. Welcome, 916er. From my grizzled vantage point of roughly 40 posts, these are good people. Really good people. Now post up some pics of that '03 996, or you will be dismissed as a poseur.. What did you get? -Mawgie

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!! Pete
Nice avatar, pszikla- I just texted the newbie 916er. Hopefully he will show his 2003 Carrera.........
If the car is not modded do we still need to see a pick? Just tell us the color as far as I'm concerned.
If he doesnt post a picture, certian undesireable people will show up at his door with pitchforks.
I'll supply the Burning Torches Mawgie... Just meet a new local CNY member (b'ville as well) whom bought a great looking 76 911 this fall (traded up from a model A)... He just emailed me and will be meeting us Sunday. hope to see you there...
No pics = never happened. Actually, I talked to 916er at some length last night. The car is a heavily optioned '03 996Coupe, 6 speed, roughly 40k miles, minty, bought off of fleabay and shipped here. He is happy with the deal and the condition of the car, and obviously has some stones to roll with a sight unseen purchase from an auction website, and live to be happy about it. He also told me he doesn't have any pics yet, but will try to take some and post up. 916er's most recent sports car was a Ferrari 355. He expressed some concern to me regarding the frequency and expense of what he called "drop engine services". The 355 has a new home. He is also a certified road motorcycle nut. 916er's non-automotive interests include, suprisingly, making egg rolls, so I'm sure Ed will want to meet him and trade recipes and rolling techniques. Last year 916er won "Top Roll" at the New York State Fair. He also enjoys making one off sock puppets and balloon animals when he's not clipping apexes on his heavily modded Aprilia. 916er, drop the pics bro'.......
cool... let him know I can go riding with him this summer... Also, we can talk about the ferrari connection.
I did see photos of Jeff's 911 saturday while we were at Chucky Cheese with the kids.
Did you finish the muffler job?
PICS!!!! And Sock puppets? If he is sportin' 2 I'm worried.
I am closing my eyes, visulizing. Nope never happened
whats with all the egg roll rolling..... hey I guess you gotta eat. BTW my mom makes the best spring rolls.
LOL !! @ Mawgie
Better off with an egg roll over Road Kill Surprise.
