Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If you removed the stock amp from your 2003 or 2004 996 I'd be interested in it assuming it works. The part # I am after is 996 645 331 03 Yeah I know these are all over sleazebay. I'd rather buy from a Rennlister who knows what they have. Thanks, Kie [phone removed] kie at redlabelmoto dot com

POST 2Original post

I have one from my 2000 with the HiFi option. I will have to take a look at it to get the part number. Are you aware that if the amp is from a 2003 or 2004 it will be a Canbus amp?

Thanks for your reply. I was not aware of that, no. I just know the part # I need and the year/model of my car, which is an '04 996 C4S. It does have the CDR23 head unit which I'm assuming only works with one particular model of amp. Here is a pic of one from Ebay:
