Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2001 c4 cabriolet yesterday my local shop pulled out the valves ($54!!) so I have had a chance to inspect them. They are the type that has the thin flat neoprene washer that covers the end. One of the washers is dry and malformed. Does anyone know a part number for these valves? It will be relatively easy to make the washer up myself if needed or maybe a trip to the hardware store. PS they were totally full of crud so I am going to just leave them out for now, critters and mud wasps be damned.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
