I was wondering if anyone has experienced this type of noise. When for example I enter my driveway and the rear axle goes through the dip, it sounds as if there is loose metal parts clanging against each other. Back description perhaps, but dont know how else to explain. the noise only comes from the back end and seems like it is from the drivers side. Any thoughts? Peter

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Could it be a loose muffler connection??
Try to get the car on a lift and see if any of the muffler mounting bolts need tightning. Pretty easy fix with the right size wrench.
