Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Wow. Not seen that before. Bad luck The only thing I can think of as a quick and dirty inexpensive fix would be to use some gorilla glue or no nails equivalent and hope it holds the screw in place. I'm sure my rudimentary fix may get some criticism on here and rightly so But it's all I can think of. Good luck Jack
Not too hard to fix .Suggest you google mikesporsche boxster web pages .He has a detailed diy on fixing visor retaining nut .
Nice write up for the DIY. My center piece came loose, I think it happened over time but I just noticed it the other day when one side came completely loose. Fortunately my nuts were not split, just had to reinsert the lots and tighten them down. Not the rattles along the frame that I had been having are comp, etely gone.
