Hi guys, I'm looking for instructions on this. Can it be done through the scavenge pump access, like on a 5-chain engine? Thanks.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi, this might help: https://rennlist.com/forums/7168230-post20.html
Yes, I read that. It suggests the engine needs to be out of the car to accomplish that procedure. I'd really like to see the pictures that go with those instructions.
Me too!
It can even be done without any special tools.. It can be done in the car as well.
"It can even be done without any special tools.. It can be done in the car as well." I'm sure you know the answer to this, but your response was a little less than helpful. A more detailed answer to [email removed] would be greatly appreciated.
You know... I instruct a class that includes this procedure. In fact, we spend a whole day on cam timing for 3 and 5 chain engines. Otherwise you'll have to wait on my assembly manual. Thats about all I can share right now from my bedside position in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Not sure whats going on Jake, but I hope all turns out well.
