Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 24Original post

welcome on board!! No one has asked yet...........did you get to drive it home from Florida and if you did how did you enjoy the "feel" of these baby"s!!?? Truly assume isn't it, you never want the drive's to end. I hate having to get out of the car whenever I arrive somewhere!!!!! Enjoy her! Pete

POST 26 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hi pete, i did get to drive it home from florida. car was awsome. roads up north got pretty bad - my new car and big potholes. at least steering around them was easy enough! engine so smooth. and sport exhaust makes great noises. i do look at a couple of times a night though....

POST 28 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hey pete, tell me about your suspension. Looks great. adjustable? thinking about mods. more power - not yet. so it has to be suspension. best thing, right? your thoughts are appreciated

POST 29Original post

IMO suspension and brakes before power.... actually you have a lot of power already. but before MOD's I suugest driving it bone stock and getting some professional instruction. That will serve you better and make your car way faster without turning any wrenches...

POST 30 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i agree. still learning and i am the limiting factor not the car. planning on pca de events to get a better understanding of the vehicle dynamics. good idea - i think so. am i on the right track? but those suspension mods look way cool....

POST 31Original post

yes and yes.... Pete has X74, it is a factory set up that you can buy and install (or X73 depending on car model) Its pretty hot set up and I have not heard anyone complain.... made for your car

POST 32Original post

Quotes source post: 8472135

Your right about that set up if you can get one. Both the X73/74 are on factory BO with no delivery date posted.... Chuck

POST 33Original post

And.....it is a fixed set up. No monkeying with adjustments. C4 = X74, C4S = X73. I just love it! I agree with Ed regarding drive the car first (as it is) for a couple years and get to know it. Then start changing things up...you will have a better appreciation of what you changed and why. Well......maybe wait a year...

POST 34 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

so sounds like the X73 setup for me. maybe by the time the factory resumes shipments i will have had enough time with the car and saved up some $$!
