Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 1 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm going back in to find 2 missing screws that FORGOT to put in! If there is a demand, I'll be more than happy to take pictures of the removal and install for anyone who feels it would be helpful?

POST 2Original post

It would be helpful for future reverence. As long as you are "going in" again, you might as well take pics.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was all set to start the project, tools out and camera ready. Took my side marker off to remembered where the extra 2 screws came from. There are 3 side marker bumper screws which only 2 are required to be removed to get bumper off. The 3rd is a vertical screw that I thought had to be removed, but didn't. SUCCESS!! Sorry no DIY this time, but I will do it for sure next time I take the bumper off.

POST 9Original post

Great Video!! I'm a 2 week "new to me" owner of a 99-996. The video has provided me with a weekend project.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Kazual99, the video is great and the Renntech DIY is great too. Both miss a couple things that I figured out myself. I'm fresh as a lily on this DIY. I'd be more than happy to point out what I had to figure out to make the job go easy. Have fun, you'll be shocked at what you find in the Radiators!

POST 11Original post

This is a really good thing to know. Everyone should be cleaning out their radiators at least every 2-3 years (depending upon where they live and if leaves are a big deal near them.)
