Come join us for our Summer Heat driver education event being held at Putnam Park June 25-27. Student registration is 300.00 and includes four 25 minute track sessions on Saturday and Sunday. There is also a Friday �open lapping� day for advanced drivers / instructors. Friday is additional for drivers, but included in the 150.00 fees for Instructors. In addition, we�ll provide dinner & drinks (adult kind too) on Friday and Saturday evening courtesy of our main sponsor, Blue Grass Motorsport. We also provide Instructors lunch on both Saturday and Sunday. If you've never been on the track, then don't worry. As a beginning driver you you'll be paired with an instructor and also receive classroom training along with your track sessions. No worries� You�ll be in good hands. This year we�re also providing a PCA Instructor Training Session on Friday (more details on the site), so if you�ve ever considered being an instructor you should come check it out. sounds great BUT our region highly recommends no "adult drinks" on track days, day before track days or anywhere near the track. to remain focused and hydrated please heed this warning - your fellow track mates will appreciate it too ! ! ! If you drive Saturday or Sunday following a night of adult drinks... you are not in good hands (bring it on boys)
I'm at that track this weekend with Central Indiana PCA........have to agree with Ed on the drinks but I'm sure the OP didn't mean anything negative aka PARTY TIME. 1 or 2 maybe but not 6 or 7.....
Exactly... I do agree with ivangene and the concerns. However, the party is not an all night binge. It's just a few hours. Anybody that does not appear to be safe the next day, or for any reason there is a concern will be asked to leave the track. We at least have the opportunity to monitor the situation at the evening event. Not sure how you handle the situation when attendees are "on there own for dinner, drinks, or otherwise". You can never police everything.
