Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i know what you all want to say... that somewhere in these 806 pages, someone has covered this before... but what page ? this is what i imagine is involved to make the shift **** an easy install. just take a hacksaw to a 997... take the bar and weld it onto the 993/996, after you take a hacksaw to it of course. call L.A. Porsche in the morning ?... correct course of action ?

POST 2Original post

Right...this would go over the slotted end of the 996 shifter creating a round connecting point. Glad I could be of assistance. If anyone else needs this let me know...
