Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is it just me or does the agressive turbo-like front bumper on a 40th looks out of proportion when compared to the regular out of sight wing. Wouldn't the car look better with an external wing or would that look too ricy. My dilema is that I hate the look of the GT3 wings, love the GT2 but whish it would be a tad smaller.

POST 3Original post

Have you seen the Misha wing? GT-3 base with a GT-2 syle blade. Not as wide as the GT-2 wing because its designed for the narrow body. Alot cheaper than the techart also.

POST 4Original post

I had one of misha's wings on my C4S, they are exactly the same width as a GT2 wing, that's where he copied the blade from. I wouldn't rec it for a 40th,it woud overpower the car in a ricey way, the car looks classy on it's own, the only one I would consider is the oem carrera wing. Also be aware with most rear wings you will also need a front splitter to avoid high speed instability, which will happen with misha's wing, and I'm not sure what is available for a 40th nose, at least with the oem there is some RD into the situation.

POST 5Original post

How about this for a potential solution: Leave the decklid/wing alone, and buy a turbo style rear bumper that they make for narrow bodies? Then your front and rear will match the turbo style and you will get the balance you seek. It should end up being the same price or lower than the wing as well.

I think the Misha GT2 style wing would look great!
