Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

My friend needs to sell his C4S to make room for a CS. He has a '03 C4S 6spd, bose, carbon/alum everything, etc 9k miles, no snow/rain,no track,( no fun!) a garage queen. AS/Blk I told him 68-72k

POST 2Original post

i think you may be high... but i hope that you are low.

POST 3Original post

It sounds like a great car, except for the color.

POST 4Original post

FWIW, in the latest issue of Excellence that just came in the mail, the current prices for a 2003 C4S are low $43,378, high $66,025. I think (but not sure) those are private party sales, with the high being very low milage pristine cars.

POST 6Original post

Jim, can you give me the details (p.m) on the ~43k C4S, or any under 55k,...I am really interested in them.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is there a link to excellence magazine, I can never seem to find it on news stands. BTW, Jeeva, do youself a favor and get an X73 setup, very nice at the track!

POST 8Original post

Yeah, the URL is: http://www.excellence-mag.com/ not http://excellencemag.com/ lol

POST 9Original post

Chris, after reading your reviews,... it took every fiber in my body to resist the temptation of going out there and buying one. I am happy with the current set-up, there is a constatnt internal battle between the idea of leaving the car stock and improving the driver alone, or do both. Even PCA stock class racing allows for suspension mods., so it is a "fair" mod, I may do it next year. I really love these cars, all variations of 996.... and if I can get a 996 in the teens and a C4S in the 40's, I might get one and strip it to 2800lbs. and really have a race car. I simply can not do it with mine,...I love it too much.

POST 11Original post

Chris....I bought just about the exact car as you're describing....except mine's Seal Grey....I bought it with the same kind of miles, carbon fiber & Alum goodies....from a dealer near Greenwich Conn (Hunting Ridge Motors)....66k. By the way, I just turned 20k!!! This really IS a daily driver!!

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just hit 35k! What did you decide re lowering your car?

POST 13Original post

I ordered H&R springs......if I'm not thrilled, I'll add Bilsteins.
