I need a "fitted" cover to go over the back seat area (with seat backs down) for my Golden Retriever. Anybody have any experience with a cover that provides max protection of the whole behind the front seat area? Thanks Larry

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have no personal experience with rear seat covers but I have been in 996s where people took their dogs along for a ride -- and you need to be extremely careful. The coated plastic on the entire shift console is tremendously susceptible to scratching, easily more so than any other car I've owned. Be sure that any areas where the dogs nails may accidentally hit any plastic parts are heavily protected. The results of not doing so are enough to make a grown man cry. Be careful!
thats a tough one.... if you are handy, you might have to make your own out of lumber and create a platform with some carpet.
If the dog is all that sits back there, remove the seats - put them back when/if you go to sell the car
