I am interested in folks thoughts on pricing on a new, untitled 40th Anniversary 996. It has comfort seats and CD changer. I had an opportunity to purchase a similar car back in December just south of $75K. The offer price on the vehicle I'm looking at is meaningfully above that but I suspect there is room to move. Since I've been in the market for a while for 996/997, I have seen quite a firming of pre-owned prices in the north east now that summer is upon us and 997 coupe availabilty is reduced. I'm interested in thoughts on the 40th. I know the background to the car, options, etc.... Sold my R32 (6 month, 1,200 mile experience - did not come close to satisfying me after my 2002 M3 w/ SMG)......now I've got space in the garage.... Thanks. -Stephen

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Stephen, I know where there is a new untitled, fully optioned 40th that I'm sure could be purchased quite reasonably from a dealer in PA. PM me if you are interested - I'm a customer, not the dealer.
Does it have NAV?... Great choice BTW. You will not be disappointed!
Slightly OT, but I was reading somewhere that the 40th has PSM AND the mechanical LSD - is this the case?
Yes.
