Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The clutch on my 02 C4S gets super light after just one full throttle pass through a gear. The engage point is still pretty low. Does anyone have the same problem? Is it a problem at all? I haven't noticed any slipping, just that the clutch becomes like a feather.

POST 2Original post

I am starting to notice the same thing as well. Clutch does not slip, but gets light sometimes. I have an '02 C4S as well......

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm due for service in about 2 month's, so unless someone on rennlist tells me it can't wait, I'll find out then.

POST 4Original post

I have an 03 C4S and have not noticed any chance in the clutch pedal pressure regardless of gear.

POST 5Original post

The clutch shares a mastercylinder with the brakes, when your brakes are hot (fluid wise) so is your clutch fluid. Don't worry about it, just change it with your brake fluid yearly.
