Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I won the following bid on e-bay. Cost shipped is $235. I thought that was a pretty decent deal. Not sure if I posted the pics correctly so I attached a link as well. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...=ADME:B:BN:MT:1 Can someone please verify this is the correct piece for a 2001 996 TT and not a C4S? Thanks in advance. Adam

POST 2Original post

From the pictures above, this is a 996TT lip spoiler, not C4S.

POST 8Original post

That's a TT lip, you can get a brand new one from suncoast porsche for 239$ or 270 from pelican, sorry, or you could have bought mine for 100, sorry again. The C4S unit is notched out in the front and has less of a lateral edge. It needs less of a splitter than a TT due to the lack of a rear spoiler. Mandatory for high speed stability, that's why porsche only sells the aerokit as a front/rear combo.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
