Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just realized I haven't posted any pics of the car I purchased last August. Its probably about time, so here's a few:

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sure was hot the day I picked her up in Arizona

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Couple pics on the Arizona highway on the drive back to Canada:

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Did he really have to park there...?

POST 8Original post

NICE - thanks for sharing funny about the truck (ya know, not HAHA funny) but that has happened to me many times. I swear I am the only car way out in a lot and the rustiest, dented up lawn tractor pullin piece of Porsche denting garbage will park right next to me and I even had one over the line in my spot!!! WTF are people that stupid!! Anyhow, nice shots - what's the canadian story

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The funny thing with the guy in the truck at the Motel parking lot is we were the ONLY cars in the lot! He couldn't have left one open spot...lol. I'm Canadian (Winnipeg) as is the car...now. Picked it up from Arizona...and drove back unfortunately with the hardtop on the whole way! That pic is at the Emerson border after I did the paperwork.

POST 10Original post

Thats kind of what I guessed but wasnt sure... well done!!! Nice way to get to know your new car

POST 11Original post

Nice pics, good looking Porsche! Welcome to the knowledgable 996 forum.

POST 13Original post

Yes, that yellow color is not so bad I suppose. Twins!! We may have sequential serial numbers. 1999 C4

POST 14Original post

No doubt, yellow is making a comeback. Welcome.

POST 15Original post

Great pictorial! Although the "truck guy" parked next to you, it looks like he left a nice amount of space in between.

POST 16Original post

Nice pics. It looks especially good with the top down. Strong work on the drive back home... I like that approach much better than shipping it.

POST 17Original post

It looks really nice,--it's hard to believe that it's a 10 year old car! I love having a hardtop as well.

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys - great to be here. The drive back from AZ was nice...too bad the only (economical) way to get the hardtop home was to drive with it on! Plus I had a second set of rims, and the hardtop trolley in the cabin with me. A little cramped, but 75mph is a nice speed limit. JMLA: he wasn't that close, but funny that we were the only ones in the lot!

POST 19Original post

but 75mph is a nice speed limit. I should know this......what is the interstate speed limit in Canada?
