Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Unfortunately I need to put my car up for sale in the very near future. I'm moving into manhattan and will no longer need a vehicle. I've decided against just storing it bc there's a good chance I'll be in there for a few years, and I will look for another pcar when I'm back in an area that requires a car. Specs: 2002 Porsche 996 Cab - White/Natural Leather (tan-ish) - 6 speed ~55k miles (I purchased April 09 with ~40k) Full Leather Wood Trim & Aluminum Trim PSM Heated Seats Bi-Xenons Bose Built in radar detector/laser jammer 18" factory wheels - Sumi tires w a couple thousand miles, tops (Also have 17" wheels w winter tires, maybe 5-6k miles) ..Overall, has pretty much all of the nice factory options plus some extras Maintenance is up to date. Biggest items were new clutch, RMS, IMS, etc done prior to purchase. I haven't been paying attention to the 996 market lately because I didn't plan to sell the car for many years. However, with the move, things change and I was hoping you could all help recommend what I realistically could expect from the car. My thought was to list the car around $35k. Not sure if that is high/low. I'm located in the Northeast (Coastal CT area) if it matters, where car prices in general tend to be higher than many other parts of the country. Thanks in advance

6 speed. Thanks, I left that out. I updated the OP

Nice color combo, very popular on other cars and it is a decent time to sell. $35K may be a bit too steep. You might be able to get that if you list it in the PCA magazine.

Wow! Bummer you have to sell. I have driven it and its a nice smooth ride. Completely different experience compared to mine.

Thanks! I'm expecting to build in room for negotiation into the price. I don't want to start too high and scare off buyers, but at the same time I don't want to start on a number that provides no room for negotiation. Thanks for the good words Chau! I have put a good amount of time into debating over keeping it or selling it. I do not want to sell the car - especially after all the time I spent searching for what I consider to be the perfect 996 for me. However, it makes more sense for me to sell it than to leave it in a garage, taking it out only a handful of times per year.

Currently there are 77 2003 cab's for sale on Autotrader listed from 47K to 22K depending on miles and equipment. There are some 20K mile cars in the 36K asking price range.
