Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Some of you 6speeders may know this car and the transformation it has gone through. Vince has done a tastefull job on the modification to the widebody. I hope it goes to good hands.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4560791079

POST 3Original post

That's a really 'special intrest' car, might be hard to sell, doubt he will get his asking price.

POST 4Original post

I would buy that car in a second if I hadn't bought one last year. It'll turn heads and provide owner lots of joy. At $70k, it's more flashy than a 360 with performance that'll equal if not surpass. Not to mention the awesome audio and interior. Very tastefully done. It's what happens when money is of no object. That SC will blow you mind away!

POST 5Original post

For a gaudy rolling showpiece of excess, which flies in the face of Porsche design sensibilities, I agree It's actually interesting to see the varied opinions on this car. I'm embarrassed enough to drive my stock 996 at times -- I wouldn't be caught dead in this one. I don't have a strong enough pimp hand for it

POST 6Original post

I can't believe it still has the airbag stickers on the visors!!

POST 7Original post

He will sell it. When you own these high profile companies and do the cars, people follow them. I sold our EVO VIII that was the first in its kind in the USA and featured in 5 magazines for $45K fully built. Good luck Vince!

POST 9Original post

Agree with Doug, can't get use to the rice touch guages in the pilar.

POST 10Original post

Very interesting car, although the paint doesn't seem to quite match from the bumper, hood and the rear quarter panels. Could just be the photography... I think it would appeal to more people if it were not for all the extra gauges and stickers all over the place. Mark

Stiles writes, "I'm embarrassed enough to drive my stock 996 at times" What the...? Geert

POST 13Original post

I'd lose the stickers and the pillar gauges, paint does look a little off, seat color looks too teal. Other than that pretty nice IMO... Its fun to see what people do to their cars.

POST 14Original post

That's not suede on the dash is it? I would have gone with leather.

POST 15Original post

at that level of finish and customization, someone will buy it.
