Hey Everyone, I came across this site recently and registered a couple days ago and thought I would say hi! I love photography so try to get out and shoot as much as possible, thought it would be nice to show a couple shots from my recent shoot. This was taken in Vancouver, BC about a month ago, I presently live in Boston Cheers, -CT

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Welcome to Rennlist. Beautiful pictures.
Great shots - I love B&W shots. C4S' ROCK!!! - Now tell the owner to get that front license plate removed!
Welcome and awesome shots!
Wow, great photos. I wish I could do something near as nice! Welcome aboard. Let the mods begin (lower that bad boy!)
Beautiful shots....welcome!
welcome welcome! nice pics, beautiful car!
Welcome. Thanks for sharing. Hope to see more of your work!
Thanks for the welcome and the comments! As for the front plate... I'll pass on the info to my Dad, but in BC I think you need a front plate, not too sure though. Now I need to find more Porsches, I own an E36 M3 myself in Boston and take that out for shoots every so often, along with some friends. A 993 is on the list for myself somewhere in the future -CT
In NY you need a front plate, or you will be ticketed. Mine got knocked off last week, that same day I was pulled over for no plate. I have since gone with the 928 metal license frame, seems to be sturdier.
Welcome...nice pics...nice car...
BTW what type of camera equpment are you using. I have a serious and major interest in photography myself.
I would have said ya got live a little dangerously Chris, but since you've already been tagged by the Po-Po, it probably makes sense to play it safe. - I'll take my chances until the tickets start rolling in. So far so good (touch wood).
In Boston I run without a front plate, think it is a $50 fine for the first offense if you are caught. After the first ticket or two, I may consider looking to get the plate put on, for now it just sits in my trunk.
For those particular shots, they were taken with a Canon 1D and 24-70 f/2.8. Very nice lens, but the whole set up gets rather heavy after a while of shooting. I used to shoot a lot of sports so also have a 300mm f/4. Now a days I shoot fashion and glamour mainly so the 24-70 is on my camera 95% of the time. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. -CT
Sounds like a good set up. I shoot primarily Nikon D series, with too many lenses to even think about. I also shoot my Leicas when I have this burning desire to shoot film, which today isn't often. Talk about a great camera!! and I favor wide angle over telephoto usually 24-35mm. Hope to see more pics soon. Once again...welcome to the board.
from cars to fashion...nice....Hmmm Shoot hot cars or hot women? Tough choice.....NOT!
God! wouldn't that be a great job...shooting beautiful chicks all day! Married!
Yea, the choices I have to make in the mornings Actually, 3 weeks ago I did a shoot with 4 models and a couple Ferraris, no real complaints there
Die, you dog! Yeah. You'll fit right in, in this forum.
I think you need to STOP TALKING and POST PICTURES!!!!
Congrats on the car. Nice shots. like Jim, I shoot with mostly D series. Just picked up a D50, it's much lighter to haul around than a 100 or even a 70 and does fine for everyday shooting...
So how's this for coincidence.... I actually grew up in Hong Kong, but am in a Business school in Boston right now. I will be graduating in June of '06. Now about that car only being driven 20 days out of the year.... at least it will be in amazing shape for you when you get back. Get it sent out to Boston or go for a nice long road trip out here when you head east. The roads are a pain in MA though. I'm hoping to get out to Hong Kong/Vancouver in August for a week or so to visit, haven't been back since Christmas time. What do you do for work in HK, if you don't mind me asking? -CT
In Chicago, the cops won't pull you over for plates, but the Dept. of Revenue (meter maids) will ticket you if they see you while parked. My Rolls-Royce didn't have a front plate mount to I left it off since I had off-street parking, but it was ticketed mercilessly if left in a public place. After the 6th one (at $25 a pop), I fabbed something up and put it on. If I get a 996, I think I'll forgo it since I've got off-street parking at work as well. Emanuel
The C4S a classic in any color! Welcome to the fun house!
I've heard of the meter maids giving out tickets... In Boston I hardly ever park on the streets, and even when I go downtown, I can't find parking anywhere so just park underground so haven't run into that problem yet. North Shore..... actually, haha. Nah, I'm out west a little bit, but if you were born in the UK as well, I'm going to start getting a little scared
