Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

21 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking for wheel ideas for my new (to me) white 04. Anyone have any good ideas?

POST 2Original post

If i had a white car I would buy the forged Volk TE 37 in bronze....

POST 3Original post

Completely a personal taste issue. I tend to think the Porsche designers did a great job on matching the "standard" wheels for these cars -- I like twists you have on there, espec. with a white car. It's just a sharp car that doesn't need to scream.

POST 4Original post

Tirerack has some 18" OZs that are lighter than stock, don't cost an arm and a leg, many colors...plus you can view your white Porsche on their site and put in different colors to see how they look. Or, you can sell me your white 911 and avoid the hassle.

+1 for OZ rims - I got 20s (to fill in the wheel wells a bit) - had no bearing on ride quality compared to 19s - but tire choices are limited

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Barn - thanks I'll check it out. Sorry, not ready to sell just yet! David - looking awesome man!! thanks for the tips.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok what do you guys think? 2 new options at top and stock on bottom.

#2 would be my preference. How much?

POST 10Original post

I like #1. #2 would be great in dark gray too. I think #2 only comes in 19" and not 18".

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They are both around 1800 for the set. Man tough decisions!!

POST 12Original post

I went with the Innsbrucks for my 2004: http://www.victorequipmentwheels.com/ Best prices I found were here: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/home.do

POST 14Original post

#1 I have always liked a gray or black wheel on a white Porsche. Great contrast.

POST 16Original post

#1 as well Went with black rims on my silver car I like the contrast.

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The girlfriend likes #1 too. Time to go shopping again!

POST 18Original post

Have you seen the new Fuchs updated version of the old 911 wheel, they are nice and with the black centers and polished lip would look good on a white car, also HRE are high quality wheels and have a lot of styles to choose from, good luck this is always a tough decision!
