Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Trying to figure out what else needs to be red or carbon fiber to make the interior look complete. I have black recaro seats with red seat belts, but haven't installed yet. Stumped. Any thoughts?

POST 2Original post

Red rear center console...shifter and e-brake in carbon fiber...

POST 3Original post

seatbelts and center console, but remember, there can be TOO much of a good thing - dont go overboard IMO... BTW your car looks great

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Fly...I love your interior. How you liking those seats? Which do you have?

Thanks....those are generic GT3 CF knock off's..from ebay...I had the leather/stitching redone...they can be a pain getting in and out of...definately not for a daily driver or "larger people"...

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

any thoughts on red wheels? I've looked all over for a photo of an Arctic Silver P-Car with red wheels but no luck.

POST 9Original post

Other thoughts on exterior red accents? Since I've got a silver car, I've also considered this but never did anything but thought about red calipers. Maybe red mirrors or just splurge and put a big red Flying Lizard on the side, ha.

POST 10Original post

Re-stitch the leather with red thread. Like the red accents a lot.

Um, you might consider updating your pedals. lol. Although I do think the brown dirt accents the black pedals lol Complete the transformation. Just sayin' inter1.jpg -td

POST 12Original post

^^ +1 Somone makes some nice black pedals w/ red accents, that I've seen. I also vote for the red center console. Then CF the shifter, brake, and around the radio, batwing, etc.

POST 13Original post

slow down boys its a porsche ,not a toyo sentra in the hood!

Right--a little touch of red. Nice pedals, too. Here is the product LINK

^^^ +1!!! ... My rule of thumb for color matched interiors is that you should only do ONE big item, & maybe two little ones. For example the center console (big item), & then maybe the little batwing, & the key surround. That way it looks factory... Especially since in your other thread you say you're going for the "GT3RS look" Too much colored bits (like you've already done) results in more of the Civic "RS" look rather than the Porsche RS look. Kind of like this Civic with a GTR badge which I took a pic of last time I was in Mexico, & by the way, he had all kinds of blue bits in his interiors like gauges & stuff too, hahaha:

POST 16Original post

The instrument rings, to me, are way over the top. The rest is fine. Just don't go crazy!

POST 17Original post

Reminds me of the Batmobile. I would ditch the red door sills, they are way over the top I think. The rest is nice, very sporty.

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My door sills were looking pretty scuffed up so I painted them for the heck of it. I'll probably go with carbon fiber on the sills...ditching the red rings for aluminum...and going with red gauges. I hated the interior so much that I figured I had nothing to lose with experimenting. I'll get it right eventually. I'm a designer so I know what looks factory and what looks riced out. One thing at a time.
