Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am not sure how many white 4s' were made but found this one with low miles in my area. (Sigh...) Any one to buy my 99???? http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/2157553464.html

POST 2Original post

i've always been partial to white 911s... maybe on my 'next' one.

POST 3Original post

yea, I agree Steve... white is nice I would have never bought a red one, but the deal/car was right in every other way - it grows on ya, but still the "red sports car" thing follows ya around with "those looks"

POST 4Original post

Thats a nice car... I really like the 4S in white.

POST 5Original post

$5k more you can get a grey car http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/2163626616.html

POST 6Original post

I agree the turbo are the way to go if you want to be around 40k 30 to 40k -> C4s and the deal of them all, a regular C2 with low mileage can be bought for $25k !!!! see pissedpuppy red coupe sold last week.

POST 7Original post

Nice C4S...... White is a special color on the 911. White on a turbo would ask for $5k more.....

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The 996 C4S was one of the 1st Porsches I drove and totally fell in love with her. I believe even with the miles the seller of the white 4s might be asking a premium (has been trying to sell for a while). I have been eyeing the 02-03 4S' selling in the low $30ks. I have seen the Turbos as well as prices have been coming down where it is VERY tempting for me to upgrade from my C2.

POST 9Original post

its been for sale for a while because craigslist is a sucky place to sell a Porsche - no matter the price

POST 10Original post

So where is the best place to sell a Porsche? Mike

I guess he also has it for sale on Autotrader.com http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

POST 13Original post

"Craigslist is a sucky Place". Where's that coming from? Sold and purchased from Craigslist. F*** E-bay.

POST 14Original post

IMO autotrader is the best of the 3 ebay gets the draw but not always the right people, if bidding it goes low, if reserves people dont bid... craigs has a very tough time with P-cars from what I have seen/heard, people looking for real "deals" though some have had luck

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have sold a few cars on Cragislist. Its a LONG process I tried the Autotrader route but was not as successful (that was years ago). My last cars I have bought on CL and I agree with Ivangene about CL - You do get lots of junky buyers and of course Scammers, but don't you get them on Autotrader as well? I have not bought / sold on Ebay yet (I mean cars)
