Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I see lots of posts for buyers in the market for an affordable, well optioned 996 on this forum....where are they when one as nice as yours comes up for sale jc? That's a nice looking ride.

Yes- as odd it seems it isnt always price that will move a car- some people will not look at the cheapest one thinking there is somethng wrong with it etc, if youur car is as nice as it looks it will move for 23k or more IMO- good luck!

POST 18Original post

Things are slow. I had my car advertised with a price of $23K and never got a single call or email. I was a bit ambivalent about selling anyway and let the ad expire. I did get a cash offer of $18,000 on a trade from a jeep dealer which would have been the equivalent of $19260 with the sales tax savings. I probably would have taken that if I was a bit more serious about getting out of the Porsche. But in the end all nice cars do sell and your car looks nice and is priced right. You just have to cast the net a bit further and advertise a lot. There are buyers out there, just not many of them and they have lots of choices.

POST 19Original post

Wow, it's hard to believe that this car isn't already sold at that price. Is this the current trend for early 996 cars? I know if I were in the market, I'd be all over your car... Good luck with the sale!
