Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

What is a Sunroof Elimination Kit and where do you buy it?

Funny stuff. I haven't seen a kit but I'm sure there is one out there somewhere. The proper way to remove your sunroof is to cut off the roof and weld on a non-sunroof version. It's not as big a deal as is sounds although not a DIY for most of us.

Jim is right about how to do it properly. Actually the roof skin is not expensive at all. Commonly done by the club racers to get rid of the paperweight on the roof.

POST 8Original post

I went with a CF roof panel and a headliner from a junkyard.

POST 9Original post

I found the FULL sunroof delete kit on isle 69 between the muffler bearing grease and the blinker fluid.

POST 10Original post

Mine had to come out when the cage went in, so they just welded on some bars for the roof part to screw into.
