Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

That's my favorite color, Jaoquin. You did a fantastic job - it looks like polished glass. I love that European license plate too. Bob

Except his car is blue. Great job detailing the car. It looks great.

POST 10Original post

It looks amazing, and I really love that color.

POST 12Original post

Like I said above..."lookin' good". Eric at bumperplugs.com could plug that key hole and front bumper and make it look even better. No affiliation by the way.

You thinking about the lack of swirls?

POST 16Original post

Quotes source post: 5686094

I've had good results with a single stage polish and a Porter Cable machine - then topping that off with a sealant. No more swirls!

POST 19Original post

Joaquin, te quedo super chevre Que tipo de pulimiento usastes?? Oye, y que color es tu carro? Me gusta como en algunas fotos se mira negro, y luego azul.

I'm finding the Porter is good for paint in reasonable condition, but seriously lacking after color sanding.

POST 21Original post

Oh, but nice looking results though. My compliments.

Yep - you'll need more power that a PC for that level of work You'll need some sort of rotary polisher to take on that task

POST 24Original post

You got two rear ends in picture #5 and I see a C4 in front. BTW the car looks great.

POST 25Original post

Quotes source post: 5687665

Absolutely, but not many can operate a direct drive rotary effectively, I've seen many professionals do a less than stellar job, and actually ruin good finishes. Always best to start on the safe end...

Ahh, if they ruin a paint job with a rotary: either they are not professionals, or the paint job is sub standard.

POST 28Original post

Wow, very nice! What, they don't have rock chips in Spain??

Thanks. We hope to repeat in 2016 Madrid (my home) Midnight blue I'll answer you at the end of the most Midnight Blue Menzerna (son fantasticos) Midnight Blue. Unfortunately we have them too. My front bumper had a good paint job last year. At now It's plenty of little rock chips but I tried to disguise them with a Touch Up Paint Kit. Materials I used to complete the detailing process: Wash: Sonax Gloss Shampoo and wool lamb glove 100% natural Clean up (decontaminate): Clay bar: Wolfgang Elastic Poly Clay Polish: The machine: Blaukraft Step 1: Menzerna Intensive Polish PO 85RD3.02 + yellow foam (cut) Step 2: Menzerna Power Gloss + green foam (polish) Step 3: Menzerna Final Polish + blue foam (finish) Sealant: Poorboys EX Sealant with Carnauba Wax: Poorboys Nattys Paste Wax - Blue (ideal for dark paint) (after sealant I waxed the car twice.) It took me about 8 hours, but I have to say that my friend Fernando helped me in the polish procedure with the machine. It's too hard. Thanks everybody for the comments
