Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Whuddup. I was driving my 99 c-2 this morning when I noticed that under hard acceleration the rpm's will rev high (as if there is no traction) then go back down to the regular rpms. I started to notice this a few days ago and seems to be getting worse. What part of the tranny do u think it is? There is no throwout bearing noise, and the car still shifts fine. There just seems to be some serious trans slippage. (6 spd, btw) Plz help.

POST 3Original post

The transmission doesn't slip. Get your clutch checked out. How many miles on the car our of curiousity?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 6Original post

I got my clutch for 350 and the labor was 550 with negotiation from a porsche dealer getting a "great deal"

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
